This is about noticing the <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/its-all-about-skin\/your-guide-to-the-best-beauty-and-wellness-events-of-2025\/\">events<\/a> and moments that impact your daily existence without you actually noticing them\u2026 some small and simple, others not\u2026but when noticed create a wonderful tapestry of aliveness\u2026(is that even a word?\u2026but you get the gist of it right?) The things that when noticed serve to remind us that we are more than just our daily routines, schedules and actions\u2026 So much more.<\/p>\n<p>In our noticing, we can see where there can be a sense of peace or simple Joy in the space between these interactions and of course in the interactions themselves. I suppose that you could say that the art of noticing is in fact a form of <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/5-ways-to-create-mindful-moments-on-the-go\/\">mindfulness<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In today\u2019s world so many of us are focused on what we have to do, where we have to be and indeed how we have to be, that we often don\u2019t allow ourselves to just be: we spend so much time waiting for the right time, or the ideal moment that we fail to notice the moments that are happening right in front of us with every breath.<\/p>\n<p>Noticing doesn\u2019t have to be profound. In fact, it\u2019s often the little things that deliver that feel good factor\u2026 a bed made with freshly laundered sheets, the <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/mind\/the-benefits-of-cold-showers\/\">perfect shower<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/the-ultimate-guide-to-bath-types\/\">bath<\/a>, a fragrance that you choose to wear that always makes you feel good.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, noticing is not just about the feel-good moments; it\u2019s also about the moments in our daily lives that lower <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/simple-ways-to-raise-your-vibration-and-boost-positivity\/\">our vibration<\/a> through feelings like anger, envy, fear, shame, sadness etc\u2026we are human and it\u2019s normal to experience a range of feelings. Then tell yourself that you are going to \u2018notice\u2019.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Create a noticing notebook\/ journal<\/strong> and commit to writing in it daily at a time that works for you: this allows you to witness just how much impacts you on a daily basis.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Engage the senses<\/strong>: listen to the sounds around you, notice any scents that evoke memories or emotions, feel the warmth of your cup of tea or the softness of a fabric, savour the taste of your food rather than eating on autopilot, look up from your screen and notice the world around you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Start_noticing_the_simple_things_that_give_you_pleasure\"><\/span><strong>Start noticing the <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/mind\/look-out-for-glimmers\/\">simple things<\/a> that give you pleasure<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Savour your morning tea or coffee preparation and the pleasure that you get from drinking it.<\/li>\n<li>Notice the beauty of <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/mind\/the-allure-of-forest-scents\/\">the trees<\/a> and shrubs that are blossoming while you\u2019re out and about\u2026<\/li>\n<li>Notice the conversations or Interactions that you\u2019ve had that have lifted your spirits or made you laugh.<\/li>\n<li>Dig out photos of people and places that you love and find ways to have them more visible: frame them and put them up in your living space, use them as screensavers on your phone.<\/li>\n<li>Get your <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/4-energy-restoring-books\/\">favourite books<\/a> out and re read your fave chapters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Notice_the_less_pleasurable_moments\"><\/span><strong>Notice the less pleasurable moments<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>If it\u2019s a conversation or interaction that you\u2019ve had &#8211; explore why it has triggered you: did it make you angry? Or anxious?<\/li>\n<li>If you find yourself feeling envy or jealousy after an interaction: ask yourself why you feel that way. Maybe there\u2019s something that you\u2019d like to be doing differently in your life.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Some_extra_prompts%E2%80%A6\"><\/span><strong>Some extra prompts&#8230;<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Think about the last time that you felt truly comfortable and at ease.<\/li>\n<li>What activities consistently bring you joy?<\/li>\n<li>Who in your life makes you feel seen and heard?<\/li>\n<li>What <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/100-ways-to-cultivate-calm-mindful-holistic-wellness-practices\/\">daily practices<\/a> help you to feel grounded and centred?<\/li>\n<li>What in your life creates stress or anxiety and what can you do to change it or reduce its impact?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>By noticing, we empower ourselves.
