This week, we\u2019re inviting you to embark on a 7 day wellbeing challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Here are 7 simple yet effective tasks to help you prioritise your self-care and enhance your <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/category\/health-and-wellbeing\/\">wellbeing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Day_1\"><\/span><strong>Day 1<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Mindful Morning<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s kick off this challenge by embracing the peace of a <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/5-ways-to-create-mindful-moments-on-the-go\/\">mindful morning<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Start your day with 5 minutes of <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/mind\/a-gift-for-world-meditation-day\/\">meditation<\/a> or deep breathing. It can help set a positive tone for the day ahead and help you to centre your thoughts.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Day_2\"><\/span><strong>Day 2<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Try gratitude journaling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Start to cultivate an attitude of <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/mind\/gratitude-your-key-to-unlocking-happiness\/\">gratitude<\/a> and try jotting down 3 things that you\u2019re grateful for today.<\/p>\n<p>Gratitude is good for you: that\u2019s a fact. It\u2019s backed by science and advocated by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dalailama.com\/\">Dalai Lama<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/oprah\/?hl=en\">Ophrah<\/a> and more. One of the ways to show thankfulness daily and making it a positive habit is by keeping a gratitude journal\u2026 it can help you to shift focus to the positive aspects of life.<\/p>\n<p>Start small and write down 3 things you\u2019re grateful for today. It could be anything, from the taste or scent of your morning coffee, to something you\u2019re look forward to or even the weather\u2026 look for the happiness in the every day.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Day_3\"><\/span><strong>Day 3<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Make a healthy meal <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nourish your body with a homemade, nutritious meal that will make your body feel good\u2026 you deserve it. Find the joy in the process of creating something for yourself, the intention and time you\u2019re giving yourself by creating this meal.<\/p>\n<p>So today, we\u2019d like you to prepare a healthy, home cooked delicious meal (and share a photo with us!).<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Day_4\"><\/span><strong>Day 4<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Take a workout break<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Take a 15 minute break, step away from the screens and take part in some physical activity. It could be stretching, yoga or a quick workout to get your body moving, something that you enjoy and feels good.<\/p>\n<p>Physical activity can <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/mind\/raising-and-protecting-your-energy\/\">boost your energy<\/a> and also help with a positive mindset.<\/p>\n<p>Bonus points if you can go outside into <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/mind\/the-allure-of-forest-scents\/\">nature<\/a> too.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Day_5\"><\/span><strong>Day 5<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Take a Digital Detox<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Take a screen break: spend an hour in nature, read a book or engage in a face-to-face conversation for 1 hour today.<\/p>\n<p>Disconnecting from technology can provide a much-needed break for your eyes and mind, as well as encouraging you to engage in face-to-face conversations and form real life connections.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Day_6\"><\/span><strong>Day 6<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Prioritise a Self-Care ritual <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Indulge in your favourite <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/self-care-is-not-selfish\/\">self-care ritual<\/a> today: this could be a spa session, a bubble bath or even reading a good <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/3-inspiring-books-to-add-to-your-reading-list\/\">book<\/a>.
