Cortisol has been shown to negatively affect collagen production (the protein responsible for keeping skin plump and young-looking), ramp up oil production (so, more pimples) and increase overall inflammation (the source of nearly all skin issues). &#8211; American Academy of\u00a0Dermatology\u00a0and other skin groups.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>There is a complex interplay between skin and the neuroendocrine and immune systems. He sees this as the most important first step toward controlling the psychological factors that cause, trigger, or aggravate skin conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Wearable tech like the \u2018Apple smart watch\u2019 and \u2018Fitbit\u2019 are constantly advancing and plan to offer more than fitness, heart rate and sleep tracking. Apparently, blood sugar monitoring is coming.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"We_could_look_at_the_following%E2%80%A6\"><\/span><strong>W<\/strong><strong>e could look at the following\u2026 <\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>We have heard a lot about <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/health-and-wellbeing\/4-ways-your-gut-health-is-affecting-you-and-you-dont-even-know-it\/\">gut health<\/a> in recent years and have become familiar with our gut <a href=\"https:\/\/wowbeauty.co\/its-all-about-skin\/why-your-skin-needs-microbiome-friendly-skincare\/\">microbiome<\/a>. Many of us take probiotics to boost our gut health.
