Is fragrance the secret to better wellbeing? Scent affects every day, affecting our wellbeing<\/a> and mood… here’s why.<\/p>\n

I love fragrance<\/a>. I mean really LOVE it. I can\u2019t imagine a day without having fragrance<\/a> punctuating it from dawn to dusk\u2026whether it\u2019s the scent of flowers or my body wash, lotion and perfume, the candles that I burn etc\u2026<\/p>\n

Our sense of smell is powerful, and is considered by many to be our most powerful sense, it affects us all in various ways every day of our lives as it taps into our limbic system triggering memories, emotions and consequently can affect our wellbeing and mood and yet it\u2019s something that we take for granted most of the time\u2026<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>There\u2019s been a big increase over the last couple of years of products that bring mood changing fragrances<\/a> into our homes and onto our bodies\u2026 Whether we\u2019re talking about a room mist, a pillow mist or a spray<\/a> or perfume.<\/p>\n

As we\u2019ve all spent much more \u00a0time in our homes over the last couple of years it\u2019s easy to see how we all become much more conscious of the smells around us and the impact that they have on our mood.<\/p>\n

Most of these fragrance offerings are natural and harness the power of aromatherapy to impact on our moods. A basic search on aromatherapy will tell you that essential oils like lavender and chamomile are calming, while EO\u2019s like lemon, rosemary and bergamot can be uplifting and energising.<\/p>\n
