It can be easy to start letting things slide, but you owe it to yourself to make your own wellbeing and selfcare a priority. But selfcare doesn\u2019t always have to be about the big things \u2013 those small, everyday habits can also make all the difference.<\/p>\n<p>So today, we thought we\u2019d share with you 5 simple ways you can practise selfcare everyday\u2026 something you can easily slip into your daily routine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drink more water<\/strong> \u2013 particularly when you first wake up! Dehydration can leave you feeling sluggish and not your best so making sure to get your water intake in can really affect how you feel throughout the day. If you\u2019re starting to feel sluggish in the afternoon, reach for a glass of water before a cup of caffeine and see if that helps.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Write some pages <\/strong>\u2013 this could even be a little plan for a day or what you want to achieve\u2026 but try either starting or ending your day by putting the pen to paper and get some words down. It could help clear your mind and organise your thoughts\u2026 perhaps write what you\u2019re grateful for or something you feel went well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Take 5 minutes to just breathe<\/strong> \u2013 this is particularly important on those busier days, to make sure to still check in with yourself. Make sure to prioritise your selfcare, even if it is only 5 minutes where you realign your breaths and take a moment to just\u2026 breathe and check in with yourself.<\/p>\n<p><strong>30 minutes of movement <\/strong>\u2013 don\u2019t worry : we\u2019re not expecting a full on intense workout every day, we know that\u2019s not always possible. But even if it\u2019s just a lunchtime stroll, make sure to take time to get some movement in your day\u2026 your body and mind will thank you!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Get some sleep<\/strong> \u2013 it\u2019s true that most people simply don\u2019t get enough sleep, but it&#8217;s vital to our health and wellbeing. Assess how your sleep was the night before, if you need to make some adjustments to your routine to maximise the sleep you can get.
